JV District Meet Jan 19

Clear Falls will be hosting the JV District Swim Meet this Friday Jan. 19th after school.  We will need volunteers to provide a great experience for these athletes from around the area.  Ribbons and awards will be given during the meet so we will need some help getting those prepared for the ceremonies.  We would like to be able to showcase our support for the outstanding aquatics program we have so your help is greatly appreciated.  Please visit the SIGN-UP PAGE to choose your volunteer opportunity.

Mardi Gras Invite

Friday: Prelims- the bus will leave CFHS at 7:10am. Athletes should bring many layers and towels for the day. Athletes should bring snacks or money as there will be a concession stand. Psych Sheet can be found here. mardigraspsych

Saturday: Finals- Information will be sent out via Remind on Friday as to when warm-ups will be. The meet will being at 10am.

Please see below for meet information. If any athlete wants to bring chairs, they can or pillows and blankets.

For seeding during prelims we are going to circle seed the 2 fastest heats(top 12). I ran a timeline for prelims and it has us finishing well before 2 PM.

This year athletes will be in the gym down the hall for holding while they are not swimming. This gym has a small bleacher section but is mainly floor space. Overall we should be much warmer than last years meet. The 1970’s space heaters we have in the pool area are working full blast and the hallway and gym the kids will be in have protection from the outside and a heater that works. If you park your buses in the parking lot behind the football stadium and then walk on the track this would be the quickest and easiest route to the gym.

CCABC will be offering concessions for the kids both Friday and Saturday. We will have chick-fil-a for breakfast and lunch as well as nachos, donuts, kolaches and other snack options.
