We will be hosting games in the Charger Challenge Water Polo Tournament on both Thursday Feb. 28 and March 2. We will need volunteers for door, concessions and hospitality. Please follow the link below to choose a position to help. Thank you in advance!
Next weekend will be our first water polo tournament of the season. Attached you will find the bracket. We play at Springs on Friday and Brook on Saturday. Pink games are for the girls and white games are for the boys. A bus will be provided on Friday to and from the games. Saturday athletes will take themselves.
There will be an aquatics booster club meeting Monday evening February 4, in the training classroom through the double doors across from the natatorium lobby. The executive session begins at 6:15, followed by the general session at 6:30. Everyone is invited to attend and participate.
We will have a pasta dinner to celebrate our regional qualifiers Wednesday January 30 at 5:30 in the natatorium. Everyone is invited to participate. Please visit our SIGNUP PAGE to see a list of items requested.
I am placing the order for 2019 Regional t-shirts on Monday at noon. Please let Coach Halford know number of shirts and sizes needed. They will be $15 each and will be in by Wednesday. Cash and checks accepted (made out to CFHS ABC). Please let Coach Halford know if you have any questions.
Please note the following details concerning the district meet tomorrow:
Set up is complete for the meet tomorrow in Texas City. Per the facility director we have made the spectator seating by the main pool as a come and go viewing only (no set up in this area, stadium seats, or saving seats). The stands by the warm-up pool can have stadium seats. We have access to gym 2 for parents to sit in – you may bring lawn chairs but you MUST have a towel underneath it to protect the gym floor. The stands will be cleared out after several of the awards breaks – similar to how this was done at Friendswood last year. No parents without a deck pass will be allowed on deck, except during awards so that you may take pictures.
***We (FALLS) must provide 2 timers for the entirety of the meet. We will need parents to rotate each hour and take a timing shift***
Each team has stands on deck to sit in, one set of stands per team. No swimmers will be allowed to sit in the spectator stands.
Admission is $4 for adults, $2 for students
District shirts will be on sale for $18 each, quantities are limited.
Heat sheets will be available for $2
